i didn't call his movies good. but he has (or rather has built) some acting chops...they are probably showcased in 1/10 of the stuff he does, at best.

shit, rob schneider's not a terrible actor, either. again, he's just the type that would fellate an elephant for some quick cash.

I'd seen the trailers for beaver early in the year, and then again one of the last times i was at the theater... few weeks after that I saw it available on netflix.

This is true. The wife and I watched it a week or two ago and It really wasn't that bad. I think it's obvious why it bombed at the box office, but the movie itself isn't horrible. It has a 62% on RT and 6.8 on IMDB.
