depends on what you mean by "good". I am willing to bet that OK State will easily make a bowl this year.

14-0? Their running game looked good on Saturday...

The Big 10 is so weak this year it really isn't going to hurt OSU that much. Their only competition is Michigan... I hate Michigan...
Weak? Is that why we have 6 out of our 11 teams ranked in the top 25 right now? What other conference has over 50% of its teams in the top 25 right now?
Ohio State
Michigan
Wisconsin
Purdue
Iowa
Penn State

The Big 10 is weak? What?
You have the defending national champs in OSU, a top 5 team in Michigan - so 2 of the top 5 teams are Big 10...then you have..
Wisconsin, Iowa, Purdue, Penn St - all ranked
Minnesota went to a bowl game last year
Michigan St & Illinois - solid teams.
The Big 12 is the only other conference that might be better - Texas and Okalahoma compare to OSU and Michigan, then you have Nebraska, K.St, A&M, OkSt and Colorado
I'd say its pretty even between the two....
Other than USC the Pac 10's next best team is Washington...ask them how good the Big 10 is.
SEC is always solid with Florida, Tenn, Georgia, LSU
That is about it!
Big 12's only 2 teams that are non-competitive are Kansas and Baylor. K-State, Texas, Oklahoma all have a good shot at the National Championship this year , and im sure at least 7 teams will get a bowl game.

Of course Clarett isn't the whole team, he is one player, not 22. But they will hurt without him. I'm betting OSU loses three games this year. With games against NC State, Iowa, Penn St, Wisc, Purdue and Michigan...and no Clarett.

And a week ago you had 4 and the SEC had 5. Point being? As I said if you look at how high the teams are ranked, you will see that the average SEC ranking was above that of the Big 10. I will always consider the Big 10 as weak unitl they add 2 more teams and a championship game. Right now the two best teams don't even have to play each other. That is silly and shows the inherent weakness of the current format.
Look at who Michigan, Penn State, and others played. Compare that to who Auburn, Georgia, and others. You will see that slowly over the year the SEC has a tougher schedule than the Big 10.
I mean hey.... Penn State already backed out of playing Alabama... wonder why?

They won't go undefeated again (without Clarett).

1. Championship games suck. Championship games are why conferences send teams with 2 and 3 losses to BCS games. And a championship game doesn't always make sure that the two best teams play each other. Almost all of the strength of the SEC is in th East. But you can't have Florida and Tennessee play each other. It's Florida vs. Arkansas, or LSU vs. Tennessee.
2. The SEC is a good conference. So is the Big Ten. So is the Big 12. I live in Atlanta and all I ever get to hear about is how great the SEC is. I like to point out to these people that the Big Ten seems to beat SEC teams in the head to head matchups. Especially in bowl games.
