Don't worry, Bubb Rubb had never hear of whistle tips before, even though they were around in the late '50s.
 
That was a real newscast. I saw it live on KRON4 when it first aired, and thought it was probably the funniest news report I'd ever seen.
 
Perhaps the funniest part is that when it was first posted on ATOT, it was a complete non-event. I think me and the original poster were the only ones who laughed. Then like 2 weeks later someone else posted it and everyone was like OMGWTFBBQLOLGRASS!
 
i just love the part of newstory where he takes off at the end and runs the stop sign at the intersection....
