I would like recommendations to computer vendors that are reliable and a good value for making BTO (build-to-order) systems. I'm not quite ready to build my own system from scratch, I can't afford a really expensive top of the line gaming machine, but I don't want to settle for some of the average pre-built computer systems available. That's why I'm looking at a custom-built machine.
McGlen Micro is one example of what I'm looking for:
McGlen BTO Configurator
They allow you to put together either a P4 or XP system with a variety of high quality components that you can choose from, and the price seems pretty good. However, I don't know if McGlen is a good company to deal with. They have kind of a "so-so" rating at ResellerRatings.
Any info on McGlen, or recommendations for other BTO companies, would be greatly appreciated!
