i'm interested about finding out how good it is, i've read of other 5 megapixel camera (non brand names like this one) that tend to have the quality of maybe a 2 megapixel camera. anyone know anything about it because this could be a sweet deal if the camera is any good

I got one, thinking may be good one for kids' gift. It is a small size, aluminum body, light weight simple to handle camera. As it is aluminum, may be vulnerable to damage and so need to be careful. I just got it today and had to try it out - even in low light situation at night with few home lights on. Well, I am impressed! Good color, picture quality, sharpness and resolution as you would expect a 5.2 mega pixel to perform. It is well furnished too- comes with Li-ion battery, a carry pouch and straps good software etc. Too bad, I did not order two of them. I would recommend if you can get your hands on one.
