BSODs like crazy!

Up until last nite i was running 3000+ venice perfect. Then I only replaced CPU/Mobo & Ram and I get BSODs like crazy! I have had 3/4 different ones. Including but not limited to:
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
IRQ_NOT EQUAL (the common one)
PNF_LIST_CORRUPT

Now, all those with only 3 new components:
E6600
Asus 570 nforce5 board (P5NSLI)
OCZ Gold 2X1 gig DDR2 800
Other components that haven't changed:
Raptor 150
Enermax 500W PSU
7800GT
Stock Intel H/S

Temps seem ok, cpu is high 40's C (46-50)
Installed drivers that come with CD
Asus's gay website won't let me d/l the latest BIOS so its stuck at stock

Sometimes the computer will BSOD booting up windows. Sometimes I can be in XP for 20 minutes browsing internet and it suddenly BSODs.

I'm so desperate i'd paypal someone $5 to help me fix it.... seriously lol

I would contact OCZ to see if there are compatability issues with that RAM...
I have heard of compatability issues......good luck!!

I can't seem to find the memory compatibility sheet on Asus's website. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Edit: I can't seem to load up OCZ's website on my laptop. Surely it isn't down?

Yep, it's a RAM issue. Either: your RAM is not compatible with your board (even if it should), or it is defective(unlikely)

Will incompatible ram cause 5 (NOT kidding) different types of BSODS? read the post to see the particular ones.

Also, what are "normal" temps for an E6600? Remember, i'm using stock Intel H/S

Yes it may.
A CPU is ok if the temps under load are <60C.

First of all, increase your memory voltage by a few notches. Many systems with performance DDR2 won't even boot with the default RAM voltage setting. Secondly, if you didn't do a clean install of Windows, make sure that there aren't any of the old nVidia chipset drivers still installed(1. Download Driver Cleaner Pro and the newest nVidia chipset and video drivers. 2.Uninstall all nVidia drivers from the control panel, reboot, and then run Driver Cleaner Pro with the "nVidia" and "nVidia Chipset" filters. 3. Reboot again, and then install the latest drivers).

I'm 95% sure it's a RAM problem. Bump up your voltage a bit first. Then memtest it. If it doesn't work, get new RAM.

as far as them ram causing different errors... that would make total sense since the system appears to just be randomly crashing and whatever the ram happens to have in memory at the moment is what gets dumped. At least that makes sense to me.

FIXED!

I called OCZ last nite at 10 till 9 PM. The phone rang a couple of times and a human picked up. I was so shocked that it WASN'T a computer that i asked the guy if I even had the right number. Well I did, and "Sean" was extremely helpful. He knew my motherboard like the back of his hand! He told me to increase the memory voltage and to put the CAS speeds in manually. And Voila! it works like a charm now.

We got to talking and he said he really liked the P5NSLI mobo I had. He thought Asus had really put a killer mobo on the market for the price. He might of hinted that the Asus 590 motherboard (when it comes out) might be a bit overpriced for the few features it might add. (his personal opinion, not that of OCZ). He gave me his email address and told me to email him back and let him know how it went.

Thats why I bought OCZ, I've heard great things about them on these forums as far as customer support goes! Can you imagine being able to call the tech supp. line of one of the top memory manufactorers in the world and get a real human at near 9 PM? Thats awesome! Keep up the good work OCZ!

what did you change your voltage and cas to so that everything was stable? I am looking at getting some of the same ram for my p5nsli and am trying to get an idea of what to do in case the same problem occurs with me. I want to make the ddr-800 work if at all possible. Thanks!
