BSODing on resuming from hibernation

I get a 0x0000007F BSOD error when I resume from hibernation. I only seem to get this from hibernation since if I boot normally, it works just fine. According to MS, the error is a memory corruption error that is usually hardware related, but the system has been stable except from the fact that I've been getting this BSOD error for the past 2 days. Anyone know how to fix this?
 
These stop errors normally reference a file in the error message, like blahblah.sys for example. What file is the stop error referencing in your case?

Have you run a Chkdsk on this?

I don't recall seeing a file being referenced, but since it is easily reproducible, I'll check it out. Meanwhile, I'll run Chkdsk.

No file is referenced and Chkdsk fixed whatever errors there were. I even removed the hiberfil.sys file, chkdsk, defragged to make room for a new hiberfil.sys, created a new one, and it still failed. ARGH! Anything else that would cause this? I do have a restore point just prior to the problem, but I would use it as the last resort.
 
Why are you concerned about a restore point three days old? You don't lose documents or email. You'd only have to reinstall any Windows Updates since that time, or other programs you've installed, which may very well be the cause of your issues. I'd go for the restore.
