BSOD

Hey everyone... My computer recently died on me. it started on basic modes but black screen, concluding it was a GPU issue.

Previously, my tv monitor also stopped working, not sure if this is relevant information, regarding GPU issue.

My computer was also overclocked, it is back to normal settings "i think". First time around got a bsod regarding my OC.

Currently, got a new GPU, and works fine, except I would get BSOD after 30 minutes or so of computer use all the time.

This is the Code that pops up:

0x0000000000000003, 0XFFFFFA800773E890, 0XFFFFFA800773EB70, OXFFFFF80003181270

Please help! Can't even have a good night listening to music anymore. Thanks.

Try installing the free version of Whocrashed to trace the source of the BSOD:

Also, are you running any sort of temperature monitoring software like Speedfan or HWMonitor? How long has it been since you blew out the dust inside your case (including inside your video card's shroud)?

I was using HW Monitor on my computer... But since the new GPU, i reformatted my computer...

Video card shroud?

Is that a safe dl?

Don't worry about the shroud - you have a new card (guess I glossed over that) so it couldn't be full of dust.

Yes, the download is safe - we have used it and recommended its use many times here. It is a free limited version of a paid software package but works well for tracing BSODs.

Also, please provide the specs of your system components.

Just downloaded WhoCrashed.

The software apparently didn't analyze any conclusive data relating to the BSOD.

Any ideas?

Generally a BSOD with no minidump points to power. Are you using a battery backup/surge protector or straight into the wall?

If you are, plug the computer straight into the wall and see if the issue continues.

I've never had a problem running my pc on a surge protector.

I haven't updated the firmware of my SSD. But I never had a problem before, for the years that i've had it. Can it be an issue now?

Also, my mb previously needed a certain update/firmware to run, cant remember exactly why. Does the code that was provided tell me any information?

I would like to update my SSD firmware but i heard it may run some risks, is this true or false? May someone clarify.

So in other words, the fix would be to update crucial m4 firmware?

If i update, will that change anything in my system? even if it doesn't fix the BSOD?
