BSOD with AB9-Pro and WIndows XP install

Hi all, I just build my PC and have been having some problems getting windows to load with my AB9-PRO botherboard. Initially I couldn't get my IDE DVDRW drive to be recognized (still can't) so I bought a SATA DVDR drive to install windows xp pro.

I setup raid in bios
I hit ctrl-d and setup raid 0 with my two seagate 250gb HDs
I booted with a diskette and upgraded to the newest bios (1.5)
During windows install I hit f6 and I installed Intel, JMicron and Sil drivers (all 32-bit drivers on the disks that came with the MB)
I partitioned a 50gb driver for my OS and had windows XP pro format it and install on it
I went throught the installation but when it finally goes to load windows I get the loading windows screen for a short bit and then the blue screen of death (BSOD) flashes for a split second before the computer reboots
I've tried safe mode (windows), safe mode (bios) and every other setting I can think of.

Updated - I ran memtest86 (took about 30 mins) with no errors
Does it matter which SATA ports I use for my RAID 0 drives? Currently using SATA ports 1 & 2 but I installed under different ports and tried a few configurations.
I have my memory in slots 1 & 3 to take advantage of dual channel. I think this is fine based on the MB manual but wanted to be sure.

Problem solved:

When installing the drivers that are included with the mobo, windows indicates it already has one of the drivers. Selecting the one on the disk causes the BSOD. Not using any of the drivers also causes the BSOD. So you have to just use the ones windows doesn't already have (I think you can't use one of the Intel SATA drivers). Anyway, that after much trial and error. Thought I'd share!
