BSOD Problem SOLVED now why did it happen

While installing windows xp pro 64 bit I would BSOD I took out a stick of ram and now it works. I am going to run the memory test. Also what else could it be my PSU? I am getting a new one tomorrow but could that be it. Can it be the mobo.

Depends. Perhap you got a bad stick of ram, run memtest86 to see. Or depending on your motherboard it may be that your memory timings and voltage were not set up for the system to run stable.

I ran memory test i passed all I set the right timings and voltages and still it does the same problem in windows . Can it be my PSU its an aspire one so It may be going bad ?

your getting another psu already....why not YOU tell us if it solves the problem...there's A LOT of possible problems, could be motherboard, drivers, bios version, video card, cpu..........
