bsod i've never seen before

i was just using my computer (word and listening to music), when i got a bsod id never seen before.

The fact that it's a system file that failed scares me. Do any of you know what happenned?
 
Run memtest86 for a few hours, since there wasn't a 3rd party driver in the call chain the problem is most likely hardware related.
 
A STOP 0x50 is a software error, usually a buggy driver.

If it's only happened once, accept it as part of life and move on.
