BSOD and DMP File

I have a new build system.
ASUS P8P67 Pro Rev 3.1
BIOS 1850 installed
Windows 7 Home Premium
Drivers Updated in general although there is likely one or more still and issue?

I did a reinstall of W7 to get RAID right.

Before the reinstall had a BSOD shutdown. Just now had another one. Only thing changed in last 24 hours was installation of Quicken and MS Office to get email working.

Not sure how to best go about discerning what it tells me. Any help appreciated. Would like to share the file but could not figure out how to attach it.

Thank you

Before you worry about sharing the entire dump file, what is the actual blue screen error message? The words in capital letters and the 0x..... numbers are usually enough to start with.

I tracked down a program to look at the DMP file.

Bug Check String: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE
Caused by Driver: ntoskrnl.exe
Caused by Address: ntoskrnl.exe+7cc40
Bug CHeck Code: 0x0000009f

Does this help?

The computer was running "fine" and we later went in and found it shutdown/powered down. The window came up when we restarted it that Windows had experienced an unexpected shutdown and noted the dmp was available for assistance.

Thanks

Give more info from your system.and it looks like a defect memory. run memtest. or try one stick at the time.

Running memtest. If this doesn't find the issue I will be happy to post more information on my system. Not sure what would be most useful.

Thanks for the response.
