BS or REAL? Light your Candles tonite, They'll be taking a Satellite Pic all over US

10:30 EASTERN TIME...They just said on the radio that the U.S. has asked that everyone step out on their lawns tonight at 10:30 and light a candle. They will be taking a satellite picture of the U.S. and posting it on the news tomorrow morning.
Please pass this on to as many people as possible

My friend just IMed this.. what is this BS? confirm?
if all were lightning candles.. bright enough to be seen by a satelite (which is HIGHLY doubtful), it is a big arrangement.. i think someone made this up..

Just found out about this myself. Glad i didn't try and post it first. you people are mean when it comes to double posts.
 
are they also gonna tell the whole US to turn off all their lights so the satellite can pick up the candle?? this is so fake its not even funny. do you know how much light pollution there is in US. well ofcourse if i'm wrong i'll gladly admit it.
 
I hate to be negative, but I must agree with WiseOne. While I doubt its authenticity anyways, it's especially hard to do considering that you'd never notice the candle in all the light pollution we allready have.🙁
 
Total BS. More like "start your house on fire, and your neighbors house, and the rest of the city, because we'll take a picture of it from a satellite"
 
? It sounds like it would work until you realize fireflies cause more light polution than your candle.

Bwahahahha! Someone in our management actually fwd'ed the email to everyone in our division. What a loser.

 
Ok this is total BS...my co-worker got an email yesterday saying it would be last night on Tuesday, even the radio reported this. Then this morning my wife gets an email that says this Friday night will be the night NASA will take pics. Just an hour ago, another co-worker received an email that says it's gonna be tonight. I think it's another damn chain letter started by some jokers.
 
LOL did anyone drive by and see anyone actually doing this? A co-worker forwarded this to everyone at my company too, and I was considering driving by her house to see if she was actually doing it...

I wonder how long people stood outside in the cold (it was cold here last night) with their little candles...

I'm sorry but I think it's kind of funny... would have been even funnier if I'd seen people standing outside shivering with their candles smiling for the camera.
