This, especially with what the Mustang
Yes, yes, I know - styling, interior, etc. But 420 HP for ~$31k street price vs. 200 HP for nearly $30k street price.
If all you are looking at is HP, then the BRZ isn't the car for you. That's not what they are trying to do with it. The IS300 I traded in was technically quicker, but the BRZ is far more fun.
In addition my BRZ Limited was $28k. A comparably featured Mustang GT comes out to $40k. Not what I would call chump change.
Comparable to the BRZ? What one or two features are you pinpointing that isn't available on the Mustang V6 Premium, that then makes the car cost instead of about 1k more, 12k more?

I'm very surprised that none of the tuning houses from Japan turned out a turbo kit for this already.
With that 100 extra hp comes an extra 750lbs though. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the BRZ has a tighter suspension to boot. So the Mustang may have more oomph, but performance isn't really comparable.
That car really needed to be a 305hp AWD STi with two doors.
I really don't understand the departure from AWD. Or why Toyota is selling it as a Scion. I realize it keeps it cheap to have it RWD, but man, that could be my DD if it was AWD!

He didn't say Mustang V6. He said Mustang GT.
In regards to the features themselves.... Heated Leather/Alcantara, Touchscreen HD radio, Dual Climate Control.
Greddy has.

Sort of. There was a head to head recently on a technical track, and the Mustang V6 6MT beat the BRZ by over a second around the course, fat weight and all (well, the Mustang is fairly light for what it is, but still). Lap times were in the low 1 minute range, so a second is a pretty big gap.
FRS/BRZ could win in parking lot AutoX stuff, but on race courses they don't have the guts to fend off the V6. And of course in a drag they look like they're in reverse or tied to a boat anchor.
Needs more LSX

The LS engines want to grow up to be a modular 5.8L 😛
Then why are people bitching about not enough powah!? If you want moar powah!, you go get moar powah.http://www.frsport.com/T51Z-Tuner-T...p_65581.html?gclid=CNDOuOmr67gCFa87MgodxxsAgg
bunch already have and the knock off companies are already copying the manifold. Should have ebay options by summer.
A friend is already in negotiations with his wife to boost his. She is NOT having it lol
ps if anyone wanted 4wd then they would buy the wrx. No need for them to build cars that compete with their own successful lineup.

Actually that'd be pretty awesome if some company took that into account, like if Mazda designed the next Miata so that it just happened to have just the right amount of room to get a Chevy small block transplant.
