Call me what you will. I at least have the nerve to stick up to 20 people who like to say. You are stupid. Get an education...yet have nothing for retort. You are just like every other sheep in this world. I have my opinion, and I express it. Whether you think its stupid, or uncalled for, doesnt matter to me. I just think that special treatment for the rich disgusts me. Yet the little man gets destroyed over it.
Nobody's saying you can't express your opinion. It's just that your opinion is stupid, and your belligerence magnifies that. The things we the public have heard have made the majority of us content to let the trial reach its natural conclusion before we make up our minds.

Adultry pertains to what goes on in the bedrooms of private citizens. It is of no business to the state. The first legal opponent to this law will remove it from the lawbooks.

The sheep are those who can't begin to glimpse both sides of an issue. You are the sheep.

Celebrities do hit and runs, professional atheletes commit adultery and statuatory rape, billionaires chop people into little pieces and then dispose of the bodies. THEN THEY WALK AWAY FROM IT! What is wrong with you people? Letting them get away with it? Its only going to get worse unless something is done about it.

Yeah I kind of think the same, but not totally.

I totally agree it is BS how someone can pay their way out of something. Like an out of court settlement or something else......

Well in *our* book (refering to the majority of law and such now a days) adultery is not a crime. I think it is BS to cheat on your spouse or even your gf but it is not a crime in our modern time. Remember before you were burnt for witch craft or even being suspected of being a witch. Now you can do what you want as a *witch*.

You can't say in your book and hold it against another guy and be expected to have everyone else follow. You could if it was a universally accepted law, or just a law of the country. IE killing is wrong = crime, rape is bad = crime. Then you could bust him if he did break a law and commit a crime.

Remember in holland you can freely smoke pot and that is fine. But in USA and UK you end can be busted for openly smoking it.

I'd go along that he is innocent until proven guilty, but if he is he is scum. If not then well he went through some hassle to clear his name (not been following the case).

Just because a trial concludes, doesnt mean that the trial was necessarily just. I remain open to the "facts" that have been presented. Such as Kobe locking her up against her will... and etc. If those facts are incorrect, then he should be set free. If however he did lock her up, or continue to have sex with her after she said no...then I think even as a rich man he should pay the price. Call that opinion stupid, and belligerent but thats just my opinion.
Regardless, the man is no model for society, and it disgusts me that people worship him.

I'm saying that you're full of sh!t. How can you say what I will do if he is proven guilty? If he's found guilty.. then he's found guilty. End of story.

Basically, you are saying we should throw individual rights out and burn everybody at the stake? Right?

Are you stupid?

Wait, don't answer that.

For one thing, I have never been called in for jury duty. I surely wouldnt skip out on it either. I have voted every single year I have had the oppurtunity too. You dont need to tell me to perform my civic duty. Dont be stereotypical when talking about the younger generation, because every generation is smarter than the last. If you dont think so, then you are a jackass.

please tell me you arent part of my generation. Because if so, you must be bringing down the average I have tried to raise.

That being said, I think OJ is guilty. Why wasnt he convicted in criminal court? Simply put, the police screwed up the investigation. They had 50 cops just walking around the crime scene. There seemed to be no clear search method established, and they did not do a detailed enough search. Thats why OJ got off, not soley because he is rich.

As for the "deals" you speak of...never once have I heard, from the many lawyers I know, have talked to, and have taught me, about deals in one case to get a verdict in another, unless the deal being made is with a person who committed a robbery, but saw a murderer. Sure, its I believe, close to a 90% plea bargin rate (dont know exact figures, but I'm sure its around there), but that doesn't mean the justice system is broken. Thats part of how it works...many times you will be overcharged knowing that a plea will take place. It saves time and money which will be diverted to the cases that really matter, such as crimes of murder and rape. To assume that pleas make the justice system crap is to admit to your ignorance of the justice system itself.

Lash, the more I read what you are poasting the more immature you seem.
After reading the hearings, it looks like there are medical indications of rape, but the trial hasn't even started yet. To form an opinion at this point is entirely biased. You would make a horrible juror. And so what if he's committed adultery... its not exactly a big deal anymore. Personally I think its disgusting, but once a president becomes a posterboy for adultery, its kind of hard to get mad at a freakin basketball player.
R. Kelly is a different story... I don't understand how people can listen to his music.
Still, you have people like Eddie Murphy and Hugh Grant who bang transvestite prostitutes, but the public is quick to forgive, or rather forget.
And what you are saying about judges/prosecutors making deals, PLEASE describe one proven instance of this that you experienced.

Dude, what kind of drugs are you on?

Comming up with your own conclusions is not being a sheep. Being a sheep is when you do not think about it, and come to conclusions.

That's the whole POINT of a trial by jury. It tries to eliminate any injustice, bias, etc. You even said it yourself. If those facts are incorrect, then he should be set free. Isn't that the point of the trial? Aren't you screaming outloud, "Innocent until proven guilty" with that statement? You're crucifying the guy, and YOU don't know anymore than WE do. Let's leave it up to the professionals, OK? If you think you can be a better job, go to law school and learn something!

What makes you think you know anymore than any of us? Clearly, you don't. We don't know it all, and neither do you. That is why most of us come to a level headed, reasonable opinion. Not.. FRY HIM!!! ADULTERER!!!

That's what I call being a sheep.

Basically, you are saying we should throw individual rights out and burn everybody at the stake? Right?

Let's go back in time 200 years, and deal with things the way they did then?

Dont know where you pulled that garbage from. I am just sick of people praising Kobe Bryant, and R. Kelly. I dont think we should change the justice system. Just change how money effects the judgement.

I believe this is going to be my last post. Got things to do boys. Id be happy to argue with you guys... maybe later

Uh, you said that when you threw out innocent until proven guilty, and said that it does not matter.

Something tells me you're around 15. You can't even keep a coherent thought process.

Go take your adderall.

Look at the bold part. Now, come to the realisation that these are not facts, but simply allegations. If I said that Lash444 raped me, would that mean that you would have to prove that this never happened? Of course not, there would have to be proof that the event happened, not proof that it didn't happen.

(and btw, my "Free R. Kelly" t-shirt purely ironical and not to be taken seriously)

Prostitues are legal in some states of the usa I think. Not 'really' that much wrong with a consenting adult imo. Just some people do and most don't. But crazy how star's who could probably have one of a number of 1000 groupies go for a prostitues ahey? Oh well but they got to get their kicks some how......

I'd say going to prostitue is less of a bad thing when compared to adultery.
