Brushing sound from front driver-side brake on CTS

The sound starts only when the car is steered to the left. Going straight and turning right, there are no sounds, but as soon as you drift to the left a little bit while coasting, the brushing sound starts. Going at very slow speeds, the sound is interrupted - phfffst ... phfffst ... phfffst ... and the sound does not appear to get more intense as speed or turning angle increase.

No grinding noises or anything weird like that, but I would like to not experience this if at all possible. Could it be a warped rotor scraping the pad? If so, why doesn't it happen when the car is going straight?

Also, the wheel with the noisy brake gets dirty with brake dust a lot faster than the other wheels.

You know, I've had that happen before, and I've never been able to find the exact cause on my car. I replaced literally everything - hard line, soft line, caliper, pads, and rotors. My front driver side still does it a little bit, no clue what it is :|

Sounds strange...are you still under Cadillac warranty? I would just take it to the Cadillac dealership and have them worry about it. I just had a shit load of work done on my CTS for $0 courtesy of the general and that included a leaking CV boot...which is unlikely in this case ... but hey what the hell check your CTS CV for any grease leaks, it wouldn't hurt.
