Brush teeth before or after breakfast?

Depends if I'm working out that morning or not. If I work out, I don't eat breakfast, so I brush before. If I'm not working out, then I brush after, as I eat right when I get up. 🙂

it doesn't make sense to do it after. if you are in bed for more than 8 hours (which you should be anyways) your teeth would have become full of germs by then. by this point you should have to clean your teeth. if you eat before brushing, you are basically scrubbing off these bad germs with your food and taking them into your stomache, and harming yourself. if you are worried that your teath will become dirty again after having breakfast, either rinse your mouth with water, or rinse it with mouthwash, or brush again!

I have OJ at breakfast.
Toothpaste then OJ = bad news.
OJ then toothpaste = not so bad.

I don't eat breakfast.

I brush my teeth before showing (around 2 pm); my first meal of the day isn't until 4-5pm, generally speaking.

UMMM, that doesn't make a lot of sense, or any sense at all. The point to brushing your teeth is to prevent tooth decay, which also prevents gum disease. You should brush your teeth immediately after eating anything.

If it did not make any sense, obviously you did not read my whole post.
