Bruning prombles

I am having trouble burning. when i try to brun a store bought cd some of the songs come out staicie. I am using nero 6.3.1.6 i know it old ver. I try to brun using windows media player and itunes and same thing. Using CD-R MEMOREX 80MIN. I am thinking it's the black cd's , but if it's not the blank cd's what else can it be.

Do you get any error messages while burning? You can try another free burning software like 'CDBurnerXP' to see if it works.

I would highly recommend that you not burn at maximum speed. So, if your burner is a 52x, and the disks are 52x, you might think "Hey, let's burn at 52x". Well... the problem is that all too often the drive cannot actually keep up with the data that the system is sending it.

So, I recommend trying to burn the disks at maybe 40x instead.

Also, another thing you can try would be to rip the CD into Windows Media Player (what version by the way?) first, and then burn it to the CD. Make sure that you burn it as Audio, and not Data.

sorry for the mis spelled word....no error messages. it burns fine. but the songs come out Static, i am buring at 24x

Burn it at slower speeds like 8x or 16x and see if it works better.
