Something tells me this might be related to my hip impingement problems recently.
I did some squats yesterday, and not long afterwards I developed this "bruised" sensation on the upper front part of my thigh. I seems to be mostly contained to the skin or surface of the thigh -- I don't have a significant amount of muscle soreness. It seems to stretch from the inside all the way to the outside, basically along the line where the hem my boxer-briefs hang.
There is no visible sign of bruising, and I have no recollection of any injury to that area. I think it's gotta be something neural, and I guess I'm just wondering how concerned I really need to be about it. Some cursory googling seems to suggest symptoms like this can be related to fibromyalgia, but I don't have any history of anything like this.
I thought I had adjusted my squat stance to do away with the impingement pains I was experiencing, and for what it's worth, THIS new sensation is on the OTHER thigh from where my most severe hip pains were previously.
Anybody got any ideas?
