Browsing thread using mobile Firefox Focus and asked me to reCaptcha?

Not logged in on my mobile phone. Not using VPN. Visit the site just a few times this morning.

Yet the forum software think my activity was suspicious and redirected me to https://forums.anandtech.com/v2Captcha.php

When I shortened the url to https://forums.anandtech.com and the forum still insisted redirecting me to https://forums.anandtech.com/v2Captcha.php.

WTH? Today it happened to my desktop PC. Not logged in either.

Had to verify the v2Captcha thing every time I re-launch the browser and visit the site.

I've been having this issue quite a bit as well. What's going on?

Iphone OS
Safari
Adblock app installed
I'm running pihole on my network
When on my home network I get redirected to v2captcha.php
On cellular data no redirect and forums are accessible.

I can disable pihole and it still happens.

Oddly after searching "v2captcha.php" the first result takes me to this thread where I was able to access the forums and the rest of the forums as well.

I've been receiving them more frequently as well over the last couple of weeks (3-5 occurrences per week). No VPN use here either.

Happens to me rather frequently. Shield Square. On my iPad, when I'm redirected to the https://forums.anandtech.com/v2Captcha.php page, all I see is "file not found." Same thing on Firefox and Chrome. I have to use my android phone or PC go click the "I am not a robot"box.
