With the new release of opera 9, i decided to open a thread about what browsers you use and why?

well i use opera 9, part of the small community of people that use opera, but i also use the other browsers, but opera is my main browser. i like opera because of its mouse gestures and the tabbing

I use both Opera and Firefox. I love some features of Opera (mouse gestures particularly) but it has a lot of problems.

opera is my main browser. there are certain sites that only work in IE. i love the mouse gestures plus all the built i features. it also uses less RAM then FF.

Right now I'm running IE7, WMP11, and Office 2007 betas on several machines. They are very stable. MS has been doing a good job with their beta software lately. Outlook is a bit slow though.

I like Opera 9 a lot too, and I'm using Opera Mobile on my MDA, it's lightyears better than PIE. I don't know if I can bring myself to drop $24 on it when my trial is up though, that's a ridiculous amount of money for a PDA browser.

I've been using Opera for a long while now and absolutely love it. Firefox has the publicity, but I really think that Opera is a far better product.
