I don't think this has done before. What do you get and what phone and browser? From my tests 3G vs wifi doesn't make any difference.

Yeah, it does. I didn't even know there was one until I read your post and ran it in FireFox which I have flashblock installed on.

Samsung Fascinate (Galaxy I) running Cyanogenmod 7.1.

Since there is flash, its probably not a good cross platform comparison. The following I believe can be tested cross platform with a true apples to apples comparison:

Sunspider 0.9.1

Hmm...the stock browser is fairly impressive, scorewise.

My desktop at work (Chrome browser): 615469

That's a Core 2 Duo @ 3GHz, with 4GB of RAM on Windows 7 32-Bit.

Would like to know what exactly this is benching?

22670 - droid, 2.3.4, 800mhz.

311952 - in FF7, core i5
452647 - in chrome

My only guess is that I turned off hardware acceleration in FF, Chrome did use noticeably less cpu power for that test.

Well this sounded like a good idea but I didn't know it had a flash tests so that completely killed the whole damn point.

Wow, blows away what my desktop was doing. Guess Chrome is better optimized for Intel than AMD?
