I'm brown and I live in NYC, and I make it a point to notice how, when I'm walking down the street, many cops stop their conversation to watch where I'm going. One actually stopped me and asked me what was in my bag (Calculus textbook) - but he was nice enough to apologize for stopping me. That was an extreme case though, I hadn't shaven for almost a week.

See sig.

I bet these folks would LOVE to spend a few days being as oppressed as Brown. No doubt you whiners would be the first to stomp and scream about "the government" not doing enough to prevent the next 9-11, if or when it happens.

lol. Funny website.

Just imagine what would have happened if it was a biology textbook!!

(Especially if it was in one of the southern states, where such things as evolution are also looked upon as evil as well)

You're right - I'd be upset about the government chasing down kids in college working on photography assignments and harrassing people needlessly while they could be trying to find effective ways to try to make us more secure without turning this into a police state.

No doubt you'll be one of the first whiners to complain about how unsafe you are when the Patriot Act finally expires.

you've got to be the only person in the WORLD who thinks the Patriot Act actually makes you safer.

I didn't say that I think it makes me safer. I think we've lost way too many rights during this administration and can't wait to vote them out of office.
