my friend had those i didnt like em either did he i told him to get some audio 90's he did likes those alot as long as you have a good sound card the audio 90's are the same as dsp-500 just audio 90's need a good sound card. and dsp-500 is usb 😀
 
the audio 90's are better than the Altec Lansing AHS-502. know because i have used both of them on the same computer. i was there when he bought them we went back to his house tried them out we plugged in old see if there was a diff sure enough the audio 90's were the winners.
 
I have the altec lansing ones. They've suited me wonderfully. only one problem. The cushy pads for your ears are kinda small, and your ear doesnt fit inside the hole, it pushes your ear against your head. its not so bad, but sometimes me ear would get a little irritated. So, i switched the cushy pads with a pair i got a radio shack and vioa la, le perfecto!
