Brother HL-1440 vs Samsung ML1450

Does anyone have any personal experience with these? I do not care in the elast biit about speed, only economy and how well they print greyscale (I am half colorblind anyway, who needs color!). They are the Brother HL-1440 and the Samsung ML1450 laser printers.
