Brother 1440 Printer for $239 shipped (mild even?)

I've seen lots of deals on this in the past several months, but I'm not seeing many deals on it now..

With the OD 20% off $50 coupon, it brings it down from $299 to $239... (Saw the linkage for that coupon on the billfold of large girth forum)

Anyone come up with any ways to spice this deal up any more? I know OD just had it last week at $249, so this is a bit better. (Had it been combo'ed with the above coupon, that would have been a nice deal)

If you search the other forum, you should find a $5 off $35 coupon, bringing the price to $225 shipped.

Of course, for us folks in California, another advantage is no tax with Amazon purchases.

But this printer has $199 deals about once every few months. If it were me, I'd wait a while.

The neat thing about this printer is that it has both a replacable toner and drum unit. That way you can just replace the toner and not the drum.
That means (hopefully) you can save money by reusing the drum over several toner carts...

Well, I went ahead and ordered it for the $239 price late last night.. I understand that now they've changed the coupon code that I used to be $20 off of $75...

So, I could have had it for $225... Well, I waste that much money every week, at least...

One thing I don't understand... I went up to my local Office Depot with the printout showing the 20% coupon and asked if they would accept it there.. If so, I would have picked it up right then, but I was told that it could only be used on the website...

So, I ordered it on the website and now they are having to pay a delivery person to bring it to me...It doesn't sound like too smart of a system to me.... I also noticed that I had the option of picking it up at the store when I ordered it... Why wouldn't they just let me use the coupon there and pick it up????
