BROOKLYN CYCLONES!!!!!!!

In order to get to the stadium, you have to go through one of the worst parts of NYC.

You ever see Warriors?

Actually I just saw that a week ago. Now what neighborhood are you talking about?

btw, that movie is about 30 yrs old.

btw2, most people won't fvck with you if you act confident and carry a small concealed weapon.

The Warriors were from Coney Island

Coney Island is famous for its roller coaster - The Cyclone.

Brooklyn's new baseball team is called The Cyclones

Coney Island is part of Brooklyn

Do the math... 😛

but their problem wasn't with Coney...it was with getting to coney island. It was the whole city that had a crime/gang problem at the time.

In case you don't know, Coney's hey day was 75 years ago. It's a crime ridden sewer now - at least parts of it.

I've been meaning to make a pilgramage though - to get a hotdog at Nathan's. Maybe the baseball team will get me there...

Also, Spike Lee's movie about high school basketball was about a player from Coney Island...

The new stadium should be right off the Belt Parkway.
I worked in the area about 2-3 years ago and I didn't think it was all that bad.

However, my memory may be going because I still remember the Brooklyn Dodgers before they moved to L.A.

<----------- Old Fart! 🙁

(Nice article in Sunday Newsday , if you live in the area)

right near coney island amusement park, i see it everyday when i take walks with my g/f on board walk, you can watch a game for free from the boardwalk 🙂

I thought you were talking about the roller coaster. I wouldn't go near that deathtrap.

BTW, what train do you take to get to the stadium? That new W train? Notice that those Brooklyn service change posters on the trains are in every language BUT english?

same trains. The W is just the B train, renamed because apparently stating "all 6th avenue lines are rerouted along broadway" is too complex.
