When my A7V333 arived I noticed some transitors (very small ones, not the cyclindrical capcitors) where crooked, I touched them and they came off. While installing my AX-7 heatsink, I crushed a transitor near the socket. I overnighted a new motherboard today and will receive it tommorow. PLEASE CONFIRM THAT BREAKING THREE RANDOM TRANSISTORS WILL PREVENT THE MOTHERBOARD FROM POST!!!! Also, confirm that the CPU was not destroyed in the process, further more confirm that pure Isopropyl alchohol when applied with a Qtip cannot damage and AThlon in any way.

Conditionally confirming the confirmation. ;) (It's actually possible for the mobo to POST, and even load Windows even when a component or 2 are fried or broken, but it will do anything of value without crashing. I had an Epox mobo fry a large voltage regulator for the DIMMs and it would load and then crash as soon as I ran something.)

Hahaha *points and laughs*
Ok, that was mean, but you really should take more care. I wouldn't try booting it up, as that could damage other components.

I have visions of seeing a A7V333 board being offered for sale very cheaply quite soon! :Q

It is possible, that loss of some transistors, could lead to a damaged CPU.

For a small fee, I could test it and arrange disposal if it is subequently found to be defective. :)

I hope you don't think these were extra uneeded transistors thrown in just to fill the board. Do not use it!!

"Touched them" and they fell off?

Sure you should be building your own PCs?
