Broken Sword

I just came across these 2 games :

1. Broken Sword: Sleeping Dragon

2. Broken Sword: Angel of Death

Has anyone played the above 2 games, how are they? I was planning to get them, so wanted to ask! The graphics look a bit dated but are nice. 🙂

I played both last year. They're pretty good and are among the few adventure games that are reasonably modern. Both games' plots contain things that don't make sense or are left unexplained, but my overall impression was good. I think BS4 is definitely better though and probably the best game of the series.

Note that in case you have a CRT, BS3 will only work at 60hz and nothing else. It took me a while to figure out why the game was not starting for me, but this turned out to be the cause.

Thanks for letting me know! I'll pick up the games then. I also got Jack Keane last week, so have a bunch of adventure games to complete! 🙂

I've played Broken Sword 4, and the controls and camera angles were so frustrating that I couldn't finish. And believe me, I tried.

I found BS4's controls okay, mouse based like most normal adventures games. You should have tried BS3. The keyboard-only controls in that were much worse. 😛
