Broken ram clip what now?

Will a stick of ram still work in a slot without a clip. One clip is good the other broke off....😱

good question
two thing may happen
computer won't boot
and
computer only read the available memory. say if you got 128mb that is 32x4. computer read it as 96mb lol

DIMM slots have built in resistance to hold the DIMM in place. The clip is just there to help you remove the DIMM. You will just have to be careful and exert a little more effort if you want to remove the DIMM.

Why don't you just try it and find out? What's the worse thing that can happen? the computer won't boot or you won't see some of your ram but that's probably not going to happen. The slots themselves are strong enough to hold the dimm in there, I would think the clips are a safety measure and allows for easy removal
