Just an update for you guys, I installed the screen myself. It wasn't to bad. The hardest part was getting the outer plastic piece off. I don't know if I did it wrong, but according to the video, it said to remove three screws on the each side. I did not remove any screws on the side. I just removed the four corner screws and it came off. I just had to pry it just a little, didn't use that much pressure. I realize that could off been a different model and it was different than mine.
The old screen that came off had a black rubber piece all the way around the back edge. The new screen did not have that. And to remove the connector, the tape holding it on was underneath that black rubber piece. I had to tear away the rubber piece to get the tape off. Why would they make it like that? Also, I did not have an inverter to deal with. All I had to disconnect was the main power connector.
I didn't have to use any glue either, the panel snapped back together pretty nice. There is a few places that got scuffed up a little from trying to pry it off but it is not noticeable unless you know it is there. A few places did not want to come apart that easily.
One thing I didn't like was the rubber screw covers on the outside panel. They didn't really just pop out, they were glued in there.
It took me 30 minutes or so just because I was not rushing it. I wanted to take my time and not mess up. Everything works now, I am glad I did this myself. Thanks for all your help, I really appreciate it.
Have a happy and safe new year.
