Hello everyone. I currently own a NEC AS90 19 inch monitor. I'd say that it's probably 3 years old or more. Earlier today I had it on and everything was fine. A couple of hours ago I went to try to play Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna. I noticed that I couldn't really see my characters because the monitor had their pictures pushed over past the left side of the screen. And the screen was bowing inward somewhat ) ( . I suspected that it might be my video drivers so I uninstalled and installed Cat. 4.5(running a 64mb R8500). That did NOT fix the problem. It doesn't seem to matter what resolution I use.....my icons at the bottom of the screen don't all show and the start menu can't be seen at all. I tried the monitor on another computer to check and it does the same thing. It also sporatically flickers somewhat.......and makes the text that you can actually see.......flicker. I've discovered that I can adjust the height of the monitor but the width does not work at all.
Does anybody have any ideas as to what I could do? Am I looking at a monitor replacement? After all, this monitor would probably cost as much to fix it as it would be worth. Thanks for your time!
