I was working on my uncles roof to help put shingles up (worked Saturday for a few hours to help them, skipped Sunday, came back Monday to help).

It was very cold outside, I helped for about an hour on the top then we came down to the bottom to figure out what was next.

It was there that I died...

I had to sneeze, and I was leaning a bit forward, I let it out like I normally do (which is not holding them in at all).

At that point INTENSE pain, more than I have ever experienced in my life was all the way up and down my back and legs. If I moved it would hurt a lot, if I didn't move it would hurt a lot.
I was getting very dizzy also.

I managed to scramble my way to the outside bench they had on their porch. Tried to gather myself but the pain was there.

This was all at around 12 noon EST. And now I am back home (my Mom had to drive me back). I took some Tylenol at 12, and took some other pain killer anti-inflammatory medicine just now. Nothing has really changed.

The pain is centered around the extremely lower back (almost in the tailbone area) but it is not on the surface it is all in the joints. The main pain is the hip joints. If I stand for too long my right leg will give to the pain.

I didn't know a sneeze could take you out. I will probably have to miss work tomorrow.

edit:

I am 22, 5'11" 160lbs and not in bad shape

Yup, I've screwed up my back the same way. You'll probably be dealing with similar situations for the rest of yor life :^(

What kind? What should I do about it?

I believe that if I experienced the most intense pain of my entire life I would probably see some sort of doctor, but I'm crazy like that.

well my back feels much better than last night

my leg is where the most pain is, i can walk around more than i could before, its a piercing pain down from the butt to through the thigh to the calf

feels like a nerve is messed up

made an appointment with the dr also

I removed all the unnecessary content to show the real story.

dr thinks its just purely muscular

pain is not so big anymore, only if I move my leg w/o bending knee 30 degrees or more

I am on a muscle anti-inflammatory drug + muscle relaxant

I am at work today, because I can walk with very little trouble

Sorry to hear about that. You could have aggravated a pre-existing condition. Even if the pain is subsiding, you still need to go see your doctor (General Practitioner) and have he/she send you to a Orthopedic Specialist/Surgeon. You could have something serious, but may be able to catch it at an early stage since you're 22 years old.
I have some Degenerative Disc Disease, with Spondylolisthesis along with a touch of Spondylosis. I threw out my back once sneezing so don't feel bad.
