meh id say "gotta go big" try the Zalman CNPS7700, thatll keep your LGA775 prescott nice and cool, a review somewhere discovered its on par with a cheap watercoolling set up

120mm fan
140mm pure copper "flower design" goodness

Yes. DO NOT get a Tt cooler. They are flashy and have very poor quality. Yes i have owned multiple Tt products.

I am using this with my 3.2 prescott running it a 3.45ghz, and it's running cooler than with the stock intel heatsink at 3.2ghz, and much quieter too. They have the same one on newegg, but it's almost $20 more..

I accidentally broke the plastic pieces off the four pillars of my Intel LGA775 stock fan when I was building the PC yesterday. Does anyone have experience with this ThermalTake model? From what I understand just from the reviews on the page, it seems to dramatically reduce processor temperature which is a good thing.

XP-90 or XP-120 if your motherboard allows it.

THermalright and Zalman are the best out there. I would highly recommend either one, even though i have only owned Thermalright (SLK-947U)
