The day has finally come. You watch those movies of fat people breaking metal chairs. Well today I was sitting in a chair at work, and down she goes, the front legs gave out and went. I fell to the floor smoothly, and only 2 people saw me go down. Suprisingly no one laughed, even though I started to crack up myself.

GG 🙁

Wait, aren't you that guy that we kept posting pictures of (your chin)? If so, did it really take until you broke the chair to realize you're fat?

Also remember never to sit on a copier.

My apologies for thinking OP was that guy. Although I'm sure DVK916 has broken many a chair as well.

In my own defense, the name is similar.

I'm 6 foot and around 270.

So a "big guy" or just fat? There's a difference, ya know...

I'm have some good muscle. I actually used to workout hardcore for years and then I had an accident where I was hit by a car while riding my bike. After that I gained some weight not being able to workout for a long peroid and healing. I'm trying to go back to what I was. I do like 210 pulldown on lats. Squat 3-3.5 plates per side (nice low squat). Leg press I do a shitload, like 8-9 plates per side. Actually legs/back are my strongest points and they kept their muscles through the accident.

I don't look 270 + that's for sure, people are amazed at how much I weigh.

I only weigh ~200 lbs and on my last two camping trips I broke a total of 4 of those folding canvas camp chairs. I even made an effort to sit down gently!

Yea those chairs I'm always cautious with, suprisingly I haven't mashed one yet. The funny thing about today was that I was sitting on the chair for about 5 minutes before it collapsed. I actually started to day dream in it and all of a sudden I was looking up at the ceiling back to the floor.

I broke a chair in the college cafeteria 😱 they had those C type support chairs instead of legs. they were such pieces of shit, though... I'd be surprised if there was anyone on campus who didn't have at least one fold on them.

My chair at home keeps losing a wheel. It slowly unscrews itself over time, then chair will suddenly tilt one way. That's the closest I've come to breaking a chair.

I feel really small when most people are like in high 200's. I'm like 125 lol. I'm hoping to hit about 140ish or so. Thing is, I've slowed down on the fast food to try and get back on a better healthy life style, so less fatning foods = lose weight. Trying to make up for it by going to the gym and getting muscle. Then I can break metal chairs, not by sitting on them, but with my bare hands. 😛 *flexes*

Oh, and some chairs, just, fail.
