where is good site to buy last minute broadway show tickets except craigslist?

TKTS? Quite a few shows have rush lotteries two hours or so before the show begins.

best is probably TKTS. can't you even buy em off ticketmaster and pick em up at the theater?

Just wait in line before the show starts. There is always a few cancellations. Even for sold out shows like Phantom or Wicked.

TKTS if you're willing to wait in line at the ass crack of dawn for the big shows. Otherwise, google around and you'll find websites that list what TKTS had available yesterday so you can kind of get an idea of what to expect. Check CL if you're brave like that.

one time i went into the tourist center in times square and got a brochure that had a ton of coupons for broadway shows. lower bowl tickets were way cheaper with those coupons than the TKTS booth and i didn't have to wait in line forever to get the tix.

TKTS, probably the South Street Seaport one. much less crowded than Times Square.

but if there's a specific show you want to go to and are willing to accept no substitutions, just suck it up and pay the ticket master prices.
