Not sure if this belongs in Technical support or Networking. I'll repost if it does.
For some reason my Broadcom Tray delays the rest of my computer from loading during startup. I'm not sure what could be the problem.
Basically during startup, some apps will load fine, and then when the Broadcom applet loads, nothing else will load for about 2-3 minutes. After this time, the applet will finally appear, and everything else will get loaded in normally.
It's like the applet loads and checks for something for all that time, and maybe it does find it or it quits looking and then it lets rest of the computer load normally.
Nothing shows up in the event viewer or other system logs, and so I don't know what's going on. Wireless Zero config has also been turned off.
There was a time when this didn't happen, but I just don't if I did or didn't something to cause this current problem.
I'm using a Broadcom 54G chip, newest drivers, on a HPZT3000 laptop.
