Thanks..thats pretty good but still only in the low 20's

Heh your ISP advertises UP TO that speed it is not guaranteed. If you want a guaranteed SLA you would have to sell your soul to pay for a month of service hehe.

On our Ethernet handouts it shows 9+ Mbps both ways and on the fast Ethernet handouts about 92 but it varies because there's a half a dozen MS Exchange servers pulling off that into their own cloud and with 18,000 or so users I'm surprised it isn't lower.

The Gig lines start to show the limits of the test but early AM tests will get well in the 600's. That's hot. 🙂

EDIT: I should add for testing faster lines you may want to try this test on a 1000 Mbps line.

Yeah thats what I hear. But with their 15/2 plan, I was getting over 15/2, so I would assume that the 30/5 would be close as well.

EDIT: Just ran that test you posted and it seems to be working well for me. Tested 3 times with an average of about 29.3 mbps down. Seems the best test so far.

I've found that none of those speed tests are reliable for high speed lines.

Downloading from MS is probably the best bet.

i hate you and your sweet bandwidth

stupid indiana. i'll never see this kind of bandwidth, i'm lucky to get 1.5mbps DSL where I'm at.

then again, i dont think i would need that much bandwidth?

Yeah I don't really use it at all, but nice to DL LARGE files in the matter of minutes. But for almost the same price as roadrunner, you can't say no.

No reason really. I was getting the 15/2 FIOS service for 45.99 a month, and the 30/5 service is going for 54.99 per month in my area. So for $10 more a month why not?

thats $9 not $10
