Broadband options?

Someone is looking for broadband in zip code 92345. An online source says no direct providers are available, only slow satellite starting at $50/month.

Are there any other options?

They think they might have heard of $70/month from their cable provider, but that's expensive even if they're right.

Maybe better luck with 3g or 2g/3g hotspots (aircards). PRI/BRI (T-1 and ISDN) is available pretty much anywhere there is a phone line, same goes for IDSL (144k/144k) Pricy but better than 56k.
