It was nice the clerk had a handle on her. Most times people are just shitty and that is part of the job. She got a rare taste of revenge 🙂

I hate that article. I think anyone treats who another person like that should be publicly shamed. Celebrity or regular person.
Agreed. Nobody I call a friend would treat another that way. No way. She was indeed a classless beotch with no sense of decorum. She carried herself like the lowlife she was accusing the attendant of being.

I admit, I have yelled at customer service reps before. BUT, I have never ever personally insulted them and I always apologize because I know they're only doing their job.

She should definitely be fired IMO. I read an article yesterday or the day before where they spoke to some ESPN employees (who remained anonymous) and apparently, this woman is a real bitch and most of them are hoping she will be fired.

EDIT: Here is a summary of what I read: http://thebiglead.com/2015/04/18/several-espn-employees-reportedly-want-britt-mchenry-fired/

Like others have said, she is not being disciplined because of her attitude, ESPN does not care if she's nice to people. She's being disciplined because she made the company look bad. Political correctness does not enter the argument here.

Meh screw tow companies and impound lots.

Plus that video was heavily edited. Convenient for them to edit out the attendant's responses.

I'd like to see the full unedited video of the encounter.

I'm not imagining the insults are only going one way, despite the attempt of the edited released video to portray that.

Not sure if just a bad moment for th ESPN anchor or her typical behavior.

Would bang.

Media 'personalities' know better than anyone else how editing can change the message. The fact that she was suspended says she's exercised her ego before. Unless contract negotiations are coming up or, her boss has an axe to grind, I suspect she deserved the suspension.

from what I remember, this incident is from a bit back and this nice clerk had been trying to get someone to air the footage.

If you go to a predatoring tow companys impound yard, and you rip them a new one verbally, then you should be given a reward not a punishment. Thos fucking bastards deserve much worse.

I agree the unedited video probably shows this to be a more two-sided interaction. She does come off as very bitchy, but I could easily imagine that the towing yard employee was abusive as well.
