uhm. good job. it took a lot to figure that out? =/

this is old news, btw. and it's not the first song to be about female masturbation. there was one awhile ago by some other blonde about it too.

Meh... I don't like Britney Spears anyway. She was alright at first, but nowadays, she's pure skank incarnate...

Madonna's 'like a prayer' was about giving head.

it was?

Chorus:
"I'm down on my knees, I wanna take you there
In the midnight hour I can feel your power
Just like a prayer you know I'll take you there"

that is actually a pretty responsible song. Madonna's Like a Prayer wasn't. Singing about masturbation is a positive message, telling a woman that she doesn't need a man while exploring her body. A great message for abstinence. Whereas Madonna had to basically sell herself as a sex slave to get publicity. Singing about masturbation is far from raunchy or lewd IMO.

It's a shame that the people currently pushing "abstinence-only" sex education are the same fruitloops who believe masturbation is a sin.

music and sex has been the way it is forever.

Steely Dan was basically named after a female toy.

Britney is growing up and needing to keep her fans. Now she can still appeal to middle aged guys that would be voted off the island should she and them be the last two humans left in society, as well as all the prepubescent teeny boppers that are now teens and beyond. I predict she will ride it out pretty much like madonna (who is now more or less bringing her up to speed/living vicariously through her).

I am willing to bet 5 years from now she will 'come forward' with stories of free-love and debauchery that was hidden to keep her 'good girl' image.

She already admitted that's what it's about in that Diane Sawyer interview.
