In all reality, this guy is an exemplary soldier. Kept his cool in the onslaught and fought back methodically. Mad props. Should be more like him

I don't understand, your saying that the Taliban is not trained for warfare? They aren't soldiers? Cowards? Get real, your politically and racially self absorbed to believe something like that, but that's expected. Not everyone has the mental ability to judge the world and its contents with an open mind.

That's exactly fucking right, they're cowards. They shield themselves with women and children. They plant bombs on the side of the road, killing their own people as much or more than the Soldiers they proclaim to fight. They send in suicide bombers and kill more Muslims than anyone else on a given day. They are flat out, goat fucking, religious zealots who are too fucking ignorant to even read the book of their own religion. Defend them all you want, they think you're a moron too, only they can't spell moron.

Crippling fear is a symptom of the man, not the training. I am positive the guy shat himself as anyone would. What keeps the soldiers going is religious zeal, just like the militants he shot at. You'd scoff at their awards, so I scoff at his. Celebrating murder isn't civilized.

Having a family member serving with Army Special Forces who has trained lots of Afghans to fight, he could tell you its a mixed bag. Some of the Taliban fighters are very seasoned and skilled (usually the foreign ones), but many others are just borderline retarded whose only asset may be their ruggedness for the conditions or familiarity with the area.
