It's not really a fair comparison. I liked Benny Hill but he was pretty much a one-trick pony. MP has a built-in edge just because they have a group of people to work with.

benny hill was a down to earth genuine man in rl. he kept the house he grew up in and gave a lot of his money to ppl he knew that were broke.

but Monty Python was funnier, imho.

having said that... neither of them are nearly as funny as harry enfield.
