Yup. Already had it installed from the last free weekend, and I was able to jump back into it just last night.
I've been trying to complete some of the challenges to unlock more stuff... it's extremely difficult because the team AI is goddamn retarded, and they never actually help you until the enemy has essentially built the great wall of china. I need to get some real friends to join me if I want to be successful at all on some of these challenges... otherwise they don't seem possible.
Parkour is still as clunky as ever. Scratch that - Brink feels clunky in general. Even if you play lightweight, it still feels like you're maneuvering a tank. Not very good for a game that tries to emphasize smooth sliding, hopping over obstacles, etc, etc.
Pistols are useless. Not sure why anyone would equip one as their secondary weapon, when you can use an SMG that's more powerful than any of the pistols.
It's also VERY bad design when you can't even tell what class another player is supposed to be. Maybe not a big deal for some people, but considering that Brink is trying to clone TF2's success, they fail miserably. In TF2, all I have to see is a few pixels of an enemy player, and I think: "Oh. That's a medic." In Brink, an enemy runs up to me and I go "What the hell? What is that thing?"
So much wasted potential here. I see F2P in this game's future.
