Bringing a suit onto a plane?

I'm flying on Thursday to interview, and I want to know if there is a section of the plane for storing suits? I have it stored in a suit bag with a hanger.

if you are flying southwest, get there early so you can get into the "A" group, otherwise there won't be room for your suit

If you're thinking you can hang it up somewhere, no.
As long as your garment bag is within the carryon baggage limits, you can put it in the overhead.

That's what I wanted to know, thanks. I guess I should just be careful when I store it.

A closet for your jacket, or a closet to hang garment bags? Pretty much every plane has a coat closet, but I've never seen an area to hang garment bags...sh1t, they'd need a closet the size of first class to hang everyone's garment bags on busy business routes!

Generally if you ask really nice, the lady just inside the plane will hang it for you right behind the seats in first class, unless of course you are flying on jerkwater airline with no 1st class.
Bleep

Usually if there is a first class section they will hang it there for you. Otherwise, just fold the bag and stick it in an overhead.

Most majors have a coat closet, but the space is limited, so when it's full nobody else gets in. Often, it is reserved for the first cabin psgrs.
You need to try and get onboard early, and ask flight attendants if you/they can hang it up (tell them why).
