bridging two NIC's in Win98

I hate to sound like an idiot, but by bridging do you mean direct connect two PCs via crossover and their respective NIC's? You'd need to install the direct connect thing in the Add/Remove Windows Components

You can do this in Win98, but XP does it much better. Do you want to use the system as a DHCP server? If so, search for "Internet connection sharing" and you should find plenty of info.
