Bridging 2 Linksys Routers=no love

I have 2 groups of computers at each end of a house. The internet connection comes in at one end into a Linksys BEFW11S4v2 which has wireless on.

I want to use a 2nd BEFW11S4v2 I own with a second group of computers at the OTHER end of the house to see that wireless signal and then distribute it to the computers plugged in via wired CAT5.

Is this possible? If so, how?

If not, what (inexpensive) hardware do I need to do this?

I don't see why not. Did you take a look at the manual to setup the router with the correct security settings to pick up the signal from your main router?

btw, linksys got free phone support. I called in before.

I tried and tried but have no idea how to get the 2nd router to get a LAN IP from the 1st over wireless, so that it can distribute IPs to the computers connected via CAT5.

Hmm. It is not a matter of setting the Wireless Routers. I do not think that two BEFW11S4v2 can talk one to the other. You probably need a WET11 plug to a Switch in the other side of the house.

Unfortunately, that guide didn't help much...I'm checking out the WET11 now.

Can I plug the WET11 into my 2nd wireless router to make it pick up a wireless IP?
