Bridgeless SLi Performance Hit?

Last night I did the mod on my DFI Ultra-D to SLi. I currently have two 7800GT's running.

I am wondering how big of a performance hit am I taking with out a bridge?

My system specs are:

DFLi NF4 Ultra-D
AMD X2 3800+
2gb Samsung RAM PC3200 (was the difference between one or two of these rigs 🙁 )

Running Win XP x64

With the latest drivers I am scoring 9744 in 3D mark 05, is that ok for not having a bridge, yet?

That's a pretty significant hit. My 7800GTs land about 11,700 3dmarks in 3dm05.
