<< the best bridges are the ones that collapse behind the train as it passes... >>

Those are my favorites too. I call them disposable bridges. Use once and discard.

Ah well, here's a quick download mirror site. I'll try to put some up some screenshots of bridges, and .brg files with people permission. PM me URL's of the files, or feel free to e-mail them to phil21@five-elements.com. Include a small description if possible, prolly catagorize it as well.. "normal bridge, crazy/funny bridge, astounding work of engineering bridge" :)

be cool to see others bridges on a decent speed server. The geocities stuff gets quite old.

peace,

-Phil

Entity, we'll leave it acceptable :)

I haven't had the time to get past level 6 and build some intricate bridges, so I haven't really had a chance to test the merrit of the mighty one megger :)

This is my machine at work BTW.

I did something similar once (granted, nowhere near as COOL as your jump/detach trick), where only the engine continued to the end, but I also didn't win. I'm guessing the game requires the entire train to cross, not just the engine (probably because people like you and me using tricks were beating the game too easily).

Very cool trick man, very cool :)

Funny thing is, is that I never had to re-design anything to get to level 6, and there I'm just STUCK. Flew through the first 5 levels like "Wtf, this game is way the hell too easy, wheres the challenge?!" bah!

:)

Hahah Phil21 that's a nice bridge. I noticed depending on the time you decided to start the train (right away, wait seconds) that it may or may not make it. Some really weird stuff can happen.

Apache: Wow nice! Does it actuall work?

plug for my bridges if anyone needs help: Here :D

edit: Dem sound like fighting words to me hominid. :D I was pumped to try and beat that $4300 but no matter what I did I couldn't. You got a pretty unique design there I would have never thought of that. I just went through again and tried to lower the cost of some bridges but only worked on a few though I only tried up to 6. I know I could lower them on the big levels like 7,8,11 but I don't like those big levels so I just put in whatever works. I got first three levels down low hehe at $400, $1000, $3000, respectively.

my 11 works great :) all my bridges are nowhere near as cost effective as some of yall's. but i like making arches.. sure it's a pain in the ass with bridge builder, but when they're done and they work, it's just nice to look at em :)
