quick question. I am about 18,000 feet from my CO, so I an only use IDSL. From what I understand this is ISDN over a DSL connection. Why do I need an uber-expensive bridge rather than a normal router? Speakeasy.net says that I'll get a static ip, so I see no reason to use a bridge; all connections will be ethernet, so there are no interface changes.
any ideas as to why IDSL requires a bridge while normal a/s DSL can use routers?
thanks
